HIL Test Engineer

We are looking for HIL Test Engineers to join our teams in Kochi, India. As a member of our in-tech team, you will work with experienced engineers from different countries and the latest technology every day.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our European engineering testing teams running tests with remote access to our HIL systems.
• Develop, write, and implement new test cases.
• Run automated test suites and create new test scenarios.
• Analysis of testing data and report overall test status results in a managed process.
• Document software defects using tracking systems and reporting defects to our customer.
• Work with specific tools and hardware, CANape, ControlDesk, Doors, Jira, INCA.
• Collaborate with engineers working in foreign locations for testing of ECUs in accordance with the procedures to meet performance targets.
• Propose test efficiency & testing methods procedures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate would be a graduate ideally in either systems, software, or electrical engineering. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirements:
• 2+ years of professional experience with detailed knowledge of HIL (Hardware-in-loop) testing
• Good understanding of Diagnostics (ISO 14229) testing
• Ability to understand the requirements of a components function to be able to create new test cases.
• Experience with Test Automation will be beneficial.
• Good experience with some common automotive industry tools like dSPACE Control Desk, INCA, Vector Tools, EXAM, DOORs etc.
• Experience in Python language and CAPL scripting will be an added advantage.
• Broad experience in the automotive sector with a strong understanding of a vehicle systems and the methods of testing a vehicle.
• Independent and proactive way of working with an ability to communicate effectively with various development teams in different countries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. and OBD (J1939)
• Good analytical skills.

Vector CAPL Engineer

We are looking for Vector CAPL Engineer to join our teams in Kochi, India. As a member of our in-tech team, you will work with experienced engineers from different countries and the latest technology every day.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our European Engineering Rig development team who develop Rest-bus Simulation Environments with remote access to the HiL systems.
• Design and development of HiL Systems based on Vector platforms.
• Develop, write, and implement framework for testing Ethernet protocol in Vector CAPL.
• Create defect free framework and do trial runs.
• Work with Vector tools and hardware – CANoe, CAPL & VN56xx/VT systems.
• Model development using tools like Matlab Simulink and Stateflow.
• Analysis of testing data and report overall test status results in a managed process.
• Collaborate with engineers working in foreign locations for testing of ECUs in accordance with the procedures to meet performance targets.
• Propose framework efficiency & efficacy improvements to meet the ideal run conditions.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate would be a graduate ideally in either systems, software, or electrical engineering. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirements:
• 4+ years of professional experience with detailed knowledge of HiL (Hardware-in-loop) development and testing.
• Good understanding of Ethernet protocol-based testing like SOMEIP is preferred.
• Ability to understand the requirements of a components function to be able to modify or create test framework to meet needs.
• Experience with Test Automation with CANoe-CAPL is preferred.
• Good experience with some common automotive industry tools like CANoe, CAPL, VT systems & VN56XX devices.
• Experience in C Programming, Matlab scripting.
• Collaborate closely with software team to check software issues and troubleshooting the framework.
• Broad experience in the automotive sector with a strong understanding of a vehicle systems and the methods of testing a vehicle.
• Independent and proactive way of working with an ability to communicate effectively with various development teams in different countries.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.

Project Coordinator-Costing & Budgeting

Responsibilities
• The role will require a close working collaboration with senior management, financial controlling and financial accounting teams across both India, UK, and Germany to accurately monitor the project resources deployed of engineering teams to ensure accurate projects costings are delivered to our financial accounting teams.
• Generate and updating accurate day to day project plans in collaboration with the project managers for all active projects, requiring an active understanding of all the project deployments for resources.
• Update and monitor offboarding, onboarding and changes in deployed engineering teams across the project costings.
• Update all leave plans across the project delivery, liaising with the respective project managers.
• Monitor and adjust the cost center for each engineer deployed, to ensure the role and cost calculations are accurate.
• Maintain and monitor costings matrix calculations.
• Preparing and present updated monthly reporting data to the regional financial controlling and accounting teams.
• Raise new inter-company Jira tickets for project delivery changes.
• Assist as necessary other associated tasks with projects coming online or requiring changes.

Requirements
• The ideal candidate would be a graduate with plus 3 years of professional experience in either project planning or cost analysis / accounting.
• Must be experience in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• IT literate, ability to use all Microsoft applications, together with adapting to other internal software systems operated by our head office.
• Experienced with general planning of projects would be beneficial.
• Excellent communicator, in written and verbal English skills.
• Experience with SAP and Jira would be an advantage but is not essential.
• You have an independent and proactive way of working.
• While the role would be flexible allowing you to work from home, ideally you would be able to attend our Kochi office at least once a week.

Requirements

We have positions available in our team for Project coordination and these vacancies are open to any candidate that has fluent business level German regardless of current business industry.

• The ideal candidate would have a high-level communication skills and ability to solve complex problems with an independent and proactive way of working.
• Must be fluent in both written and verbal business level German to collaborate closely with our German project teams as well as our global English locations.
• Must have at least 1 years of professional experience level and previous industry. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
• Pre-Analysis of data & inputs of error tickets in ticketing system.
• Creation and designation of tickets to responsible parties in coordination with the testing teams, Project Managers & Customers.
• Control and proofing of the correct process paths during the error resolution process.
• Follow up with the updating tickets for Error rounds for the customer and test teams.
• Regular status updates from current data sets to all Project stakeholders, internal as well as customer.
• Documentation of decisions from the error managers on the customer side.
• Support and monitoring for the correct processing within the error resolution process including identification of outliers or non - compliances.
• Quality management of the entire development process.
• Preparation of statistics from large data sets
Requirements
The ideal candidate would be a graduate with 2 to 8 year of proven work experience as a Defect Management or similar role. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirements:
• Independent and proactive way of working with an ability to communicate effectively with the internal & external teams.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills that values communication, collaboration, and coordination.
• Presentation skills a must & ability to moderate in large online meetings.

Responsibility:

• Contribute significantly to the development of new features at the logical and system levels, including architecture development and requirements in a model-based environment.
• Author feature and system-level requirements to satisfy the different customer use cases for a feature.
• Cascade requirements to the sub-system engineer and make sure of the full traceability.
• Work on logical architecture diagrams LAD and contribute to ensuring their reusability and their compatibility with MBSE guidelines.
• Work on feature context and system context diagrams.
• Translate high level customer requirements into System Requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, a logical and physical architecture using design and change management tools.
• Trace activities in Jira and contribute to the different Agile ceremonies as a squad member.

Requirements:

• Experience in Requirements Engineering & Management.
• Hands on experience in requirements/system engineering tools like IBM Rational DOORS, Rhapsody, Dassault Systems TRM, Jama, PTC Integrity etc.
• Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance.
• Awareness of ISO 26262 and concepts of FMEA, FTA etc will be an added advantage.
