Job Description

We are seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable and responsive web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Responsibilities
Developing Web Applications: Building full-stack web applications using the MERN stack, from database design to front-end development.
Writing Clean and Maintainable Code: Writing well-structured and reusable code following best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of the application.
Designing APIs: Designing and implementing RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints to facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end components of the application.
Database Management: Designing database schemas, querying databases, and optimising database performance to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Front-end Development: Developing user interfaces using React.js and other front-end technologies to create responsive and intuitive web interfaces.
Testing and Debugging: Writing unit tests and performing debugging to identify and fix issues throughout the development process.
Version Control: Using version control systems like Git to manage and track changes to the codebase, collaborating with other team members effectively.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
Proven experience in building web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles.
Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js.
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Git workflows.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
Knowledge of deployment processes and experience deploying applications to cloud platforms or using containerization.
Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).
