AUTOMATION TESTER

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Automation Tester with 1+ years of experience to join our growing Quality Assurance (QA) team. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of our software products through automated testing solutions. Your ability to develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts will be crucial in enhancing our testing processes and achieving high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
Collaborate with development and product teams to identify test scenarios and define test requirements.
Design, build, and deploy automation frameworks that meet project needs.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
Analyze test results and log defects, providing detailed reports for the development team.
Continuously improve testing processes, automation efficiency, and tool usage.
Contribute to the creation of test documentation including test plans, test cases, and reports.
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of test scripts and frameworks.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve testing practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong understanding of testing principles.
Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, or similar.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying and troubleshooting issues.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and related testing frameworks is an added advantage.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
