Web Designer / Developer

We're seeking a web designer and developer with over four years of experience in website development. This individual should possess the capability to translate upper management's requirements into functional websites or updates for existing ones. Their responsibilities will encompass designing layouts, incorporating visual elements, and ensuring user-friendly interfaces. Tasks involve gathering requirements, crafting mock-ups, and designing layouts while considering usability, aesthetics, and technical feasibility. Additionally, the role entails application development, necessitating proficiency in PHP/WordPress, with a focus on writing PHP scripts, coding, and adapting software as needed. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently completing projects, troubleshooting errors, and documenting processes effectively.

A bachelor's degree in computer programming, engineering or science is required.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Jquery and JavaScript.
Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including. Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator.
A strong eye for visual design and composition.
Create wireframes or mockups for web pages and applications.
Design layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Design graphics, icons, and logos.
Design custom WordPress themes and make changes to existing word press applications.
Knowledge of CakePHP.
Strong working knowledge of PHP and MYSQL database.
